Flash Flood Warning

At 848 PM CDT, Emergency management reported flash flooding across the warned area. Between 3.5 and 4.5 inches of rain have fallen. There have been multiple reports of water over many roads with several vehicles stalled.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Heavy rain producing flash flooding.

SOURCE...Emergency management reported.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... East Peoria, Morton, Washington and Deer Creek.

This includes the following highways... Interstate 74 between mile markers 101 and 109. Interstate 155 between mile markers 30 and 31.

Rain has ended but flash flooding will continue.
