* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Rises in small streams and normally dry creeks.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 511 PM MDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This may cause small stream flooding. Overflowing poor drainage areas may cause minor flooding in the advisory area. Between 1.5 and 2 inches of rain have fallen.
- This includes the following streams and drainages... Last Resort Creek, Buffalo Creek, North Fork South Platte River, Spring Creek, Long Gulch, Elk Creek and Shinglemill Creek. Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include... Buffalo Creek and Foxton.
