.This update reflects a slight decrease in the forecasted river crest.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Big Blue River near Barneston.
* WHEN...Until Monday afternoon.
* IMPACTS...At 20.0 feet, Rural lowlands continue to flood.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:00 AM CDT Friday the stage was 14.3 feet. - Bankfull stage is 20.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late tomorrow morning to a crest of 21.8 feet early Sunday morning. It will then fall below flood stage Sunday evening. - Flood stage is 20.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 21.9 feet on 06/28/1979. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
