At 239 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Jena, or 10 miles southwest of Northport, moving southeast at 15 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.

Southwestern Tuscaloosa, Northport, Coker, McFarland Mall, Shelton State Community College, Tuscaloosa National Airport, Englewood, Ralph, Buhl, Little Sandy, Maxwell, Taylorville, Fosters Boat Landing, Palmore Park, Stillman College, Fosters, Romulus, Oliver Lock And Dam, and Hull.
