Flood Advisory

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of east central Kentucky, including the following county, Montgomery.

* WHEN...Until 845 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 649 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Up to 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Mount Sterling, Jeffersonville, Camargo, Gatewoods Station, Coons Station, Levee, Prewitt, Ewington, Upper Spencer, Klondike, Lower Spencer, Howards Mill, Wades Mill, Oggs Station and Walkers Crossing.
