Flood Advisory

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Portions of east central, southeast, and southern Oklahoma, including the following counties, in east central Oklahoma, Pontotoc. In southeast Oklahoma, Johnston. In southern Oklahoma, Carter, Garvin and Murray.

* WHEN...Until 700 AM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 350 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Sulphur, Davis, Wynnewood, Roff, Mill Creek, Dougherty, Hickory, Lake Of The Arbuckles, Turner Falls, Scullin, Hennepin and Pooleville. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
