Details

* WHAT...For the Coastal Flood Advisory, up to one half foot of inundation above ground level in low-lying areas near shorelines and tidal waterways. For the High Rip Current Risk, dangerous rip currents.
* WHERE...Coastal Ocean County along the northern shore of Barnegat Bay, especially near Mantoloking.
* WHEN...Until 8 PM EDT this evening. Greatest inundation of tide water and flood impacts near the time of high tide.
* IMPACTS...Flooding of lots, parks, and roads with only isolated road closures expected. Rip currents can sweep even the best swimmers away from shore into deeper water.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...An additional round of minor flooding may occur with the high tide overnight, however this afternoon's high tide is expected to bring the greatest inundation and impacts.
