An Air Quality Alert for Smoke has been issued by the following agencies:

An Air Quality alert has been issued for Skagit and Whatcom Counties effective immediately through 9 AM Saturday, August 15th due to expected wildfire smoke from regional fires. Particulate matter (PM2.5) concentrations may reach unhealthy levels in the eastern portions of Skagit and Whatcom continues.

When air quality is UNHEALTHY, everyone should reduce exposure. Limit time outside, avoid strenuous outdoor activity, and follows tips for cleaner indoor air.
