Flood Advisory

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Portions of north central and panhandle Nebraska, including the following counties, in north central Nebraska, Cherry. In panhandle Nebraska, Sheridan.

* WHEN...Until 445 AM CDT /345 AM MDT/.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Rises in small streams and normally dry arroyos. Some low-water crossings may become impassable.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1247 AM CDT /1147 PM MDT/, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Rushville, White Clay, Mount Maria, Intersection of Highway 87 and Larabee Road, Intersection of Highway 87 and Craven Creek Road, Pine Ridge, Metcalf State Wildlife Management Area, Intersection of Beaver Creek Road and White Clay Creek Road and Hoover Lake. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
