At 1100 PM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated that thunderstorms were moving out of the area and rain rates were decreasing. Up to 3 inches of rain occurred between Lee Center and Ashton due to earlier storms.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

IMPACT...Rapid-onset flooding of creeks, streams, drainage ditches, streets, underpasses, low-lying areas, and other poor drainage areas.
Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Amboy, Franklin Grove, Paw Paw, Lee, Compton, Steward, West Brooklyn and Lee Center.
