At 629 PM MDT/729 PM CDT/, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms capable of producing a landspout along a line extending from 6 miles southwest of Haigler to 10 miles northwest of Bonny Reservoir to 9 miles south of Cope. Movement was southeast at 30 mph.
HAZARD...Landspout tornadoes possible and wind gusts up to 50 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.
These storms will remain over mainly rural areas of southern Yuma County in northeastern Colorado, north central Kit Carson County in east central Colorado and northwestern Cheyenne Counties in northwestern Kansas, including the following locations... Hale, Joes, and Beecher Island.
This includes Highway 385 between mile markers 206 and 210, and between mile markers 212 and 231.
