For the following areas... Waters from South Santee River SC to Savannah GA out 20 NM...

At 1003 AM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing waterspouts was located over Edisto Forty Reef, moving northeast at 20 knots.

HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts to 34 knots.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves.

Locations impacted include... Charleston Nearshore Reef, Rattlesnake Shoal, Joe Shuford Reef, Capers Reef, Charleston Sixty, Air Force Reef, Charleston Coastal Anglers, Capers Island Buoy, Bull Breakers, Lowcountry Anglers, Bulls Bay, Jimmy Leland Tug, Kiawah Reef, N. Edisto Nearshore Reef and Deveaux Bank.
