A stronger southeast swell produced by the southern ITCZ-like features will continue to bring a chance for coastal erosion and potentially some nuisance coastal flooding to south-facing reefs of Majuro the next day or so. Any information to such effects should be reported to the Majuro Weather Service Office when possible. At the very least, mariners should continue to take this unusual wind and swell direction into consideration when making any inter-island travel plans.
This will be the last issuance of this Special Weather Statement for this event.
