At 142 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Wellfleet, or 10 miles northwest of Curtis, moving northeast at 45 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include... Curtis, Wellfleet, Dickens, Maywood, Marengo, Hansen Memorial Reserve State Wildlife Management Area, and Somerset.

This includes Highway 83 between mile markers 43 and 62.
