At 727 PM MDT, the public reported flows on Wahweap Creek from earlier thunderstorms that produced heavy rainfall over the warned area. Heavy rain fell primarily over upper reaches of the Paria River and over the Paria River near the confluence with Cottonwood Creek over to Wahweap Creek. Water will continue to flow downstream through Lower Hackberry Canyon, Bull Valley Gorge, and the Lower Paria River Canyon. Up to 1.00 inches of rain have fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
