Wabash River at Terre Haute.

.Multiple rounds of heavy rainfall in the Wabash basin are bringing minor lowland flooding to middle and lower portions of the Wabash River. The Wabash is expected to crest at Montezuma Saturday morning, with the crest reaching Riverton early next week.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Wabash River at Terre Haute.

* WHEN...Until early Wednesday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 19.5 feet, Water begins to rise in the Izaak Walton Lake. Sheet flowing water begins in the wetland project between U.S. 40 and I-70, and during a prolonged flood event project fills about 75 percent.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:30 PM EDT Thursday /8:30 PM CDT Thursday/ the stage was 16.3 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late tonight to a crest of 19.3 feet early Sunday morning.
