At 535 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. These thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 69 nm south of East Breaks 228 to 60 nm east of Laguna Madre, moving southwest at 20 knots.
