* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Logs and other debris may be swept away.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1138 PM AKDT, river gauge reports indicate rises in water levels from rain and snowmelt that is beginning to cause flooding. Rapid river rises have already caused flooding of the Middle Fork of the Koyukuk River and its tributaries Slate Creek. Rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.25 inches of rain have already fallen and up to another 0.5 inches of additional rain is expected to fall through midday Tuesday.
- For Slate Creek at Coldfoot: At 9:15pm the stage was 18.5 feet. Flood Stage is 18.7 feet. Forecast: A crest around 18.7 feet is expected around 4:00am Tuesday.
- For Middle Fork of the Koyukuk River at Wiseman: At 8:08pm the stage was 11.7 feet. Flood Stage is 11.5 feet. Forecast: A crest around 12.5 feet is expected around 4:00am Tuesday. Water was reported running over Wiseman Rd around 10:30 PM AKDT. There is potential for Wiseman Rd to become impassible.
