* WHERE...In Minnesota, Crow Wing, Aitkin, Pine, Cass, Itasca, and Carlton and South St. Louis Counties. In Wisconsin, Ashland, Bayfield, Burnett, Douglas, Sawyer, and Washburn Counties. This includes the Tribal Lands of the Fond du Lac Band, the St. Croix Band in Burnett County, the Red Cliff Band, the Bad River Reservation, the Bois Forte Band, Deer Creek area, the Lac Courte Oreilles Reservation and the Mille Lacs Band, Hinckley, Lena Lake, East Lake and, Big Sandy Lake areas. Other locations including the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore and Madeline Island.

* IMPACTS...Heat related illnesses increase significantly during extreme heat and high humidity events.
