Heat Advisory

* WHAT...Temperatures as high as 72 to 78 degrees expected, coolest along the coast.

* WHERE...Anchorage Bowl, including Eagle River, Chugiak, Birchwood, Girdwood, and East Turnagain Arm.

* WHEN...Until 9 PM AKDT this evening.

* IMPACTS...Individuals not accustomed to these unusually hot temperatures for this region may experience heat related illnesses.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Temperatures across most of the Anchorage Bowl and East Turnagain Arm areas will again climb into the 70s for daytime highs Saturday. Expect cooler temperatures along the coast where the sea breeze will keep temperatures in the upper 60s to near 70.
