At 545 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Amsterdam to Mechanicville. Movement was southeast at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.
Locations impacted include... Albany, Schenectady, Troy, Clifton Park, Rotterdam, Amsterdam, Cohoes, Watervliet, Rensselaer, Colonie, Scotia, Mechanicville, Delmar, Latham, Guilderland, Glenville, Niskayuna, Duanesburg, Menands, and Voorheesville.
