At 730 PM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain had fallen across the warned area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

IMPACT...Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets, and underpasses as well as other drainage and low lying areas.
Some locations that may experience flash flooding include... Long Branch, Asbury Park, Sandy Hook, Tinton Falls, Red Bank, Elberon, Navesink, Lincroft, Collingwood Park, Eatontown, West Long Branch and Rumson.
This includes Garden State Parkway between mile markers 102 and 112.
