At 334 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms with a history of producing wind damage were located along a line extending from 10 miles northwest of Sperryville to near Stanley to near Shenandoah, moving southeast at 55 mph.

IMPACT...Damaging winds will cause some trees and large branches to fall. This could injure those outdoors, as well as damage homes and vehicles. Roadways may become blocked by downed trees. Localized power outages are possible. Unsecured light objects may become projectiles.
Locations impacted include... Strasburg, Woodstock, Luray, Broadway, Timberville, Mount Jackson, Basye-Bryce Mountain, New Market, Basye, Edinburg, Maurertown, Toms Brook, Tunis, Kings Crossing, Shenandoah Caverns, Seven Fountains, Alonzaville, Hamburg, Quicksburg, and Saint Davids Church.
