Flood Advisory

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Portions of central and northern Oklahoma, including the following counties, in central Oklahoma, Lincoln, Logan and Payne. In northern Oklahoma, Garfield, Kay and Noble.

* WHEN...Until 530 AM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 230 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Up to 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Stillwater, Guthrie, Cushing, Perry, Perkins, Stroud, Langston, Crescent, Yale, Morrison, Carney, Glencoe, Tryon, Ripley, Agra, Coyle, Cedar Valley, Red Rock, Mulhall and Marland. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
