* WHAT...For the High Rip Current Risk, dangerous rip currents. For the Coastal Flood Advisory, minor coastal flooding.
* WHERE...Coastal Franklin County.
* WHEN...For the Coastal Flood Advisory, until noon EDT today. For the High Rip Current Risk, through late Thursday night.
* IMPACTS...Flooding of lots, parks, and roads with only isolated road closures expected. Rip currents can sweep even the best swimmers away from shore into deeper water.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Water levels will remain elevated this morning. The next high tide will be around 9 am EDT, which is when the highest water levels are expected along the Franklin County Coast. During the high tide, 1 to 2 feet of inundation are expected on normally dry ground near the immediate coast.
