At 102 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Weissert, or 15 miles east of Broken Bow, moving east at 55 mph.
THIS IS A DESTRUCTIVE STORM FOR EASTERN CUSTER COUNTY.
HAZARD...90 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...You are in a life-threatening situation. Flying debris may be deadly to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be heavily damaged or destroyed. Homes and businesses will have substantial roof and window damage. Expect extensive tree damage and power outages.
Locations impacted include... Ansley, Comstock, Berwyn, Weissert, Westerville, Arcadia Diversion Dam State Wildlife Management Area, and Wescott.
This includes the following highways... Highway 183 between mile markers 87 and 109. Highway 2 between mile markers 287 and 298. Highway 92 between mile markers 300 and 308.
