At 307 PM MDT, emergency management reported flash flooding. Multiple evacuations are ongoing at Old Gallup Road, St. Anthony, and Chavez Circle due to flash flooding. Between 1 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 1.5 to 2 inches in 1 hour. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is already occurring.
HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding.
SOURCE...Emergency management reported.
IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.
