* Flash Flood Warning for... Southeastern Pima County in southeastern Arizona... Northeastern Santa Cruz County in southeastern Arizona...
* Until 530 PM MST.
* At 230 PM MST, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.
* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Sonoita and Elgin.
This includes the following highways... Route 82 between mile markers 23 and 43. Route 83 between mile markers 22 and 36.
