* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.

* WHERE...Portions of southwest and western Texas, including the following counties, in southwest Texas, Terrell. In western Texas, Borden, Glasscock, Howard, Mitchell, Reagan and Scurry.

* WHEN...From 1 PM CDT this afternoon through early Thursday morning.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms will develop over the eastern Permian Basin and Lower Trans Pecos region this afternoon through tonight. Rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches with very localized totals over 3 inches will be possible with the heaviest showers and storms which could lead to flash flooding. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
