* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Yentna River.
* WHEN...Until noon AKDT Wednesday.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water could enter a few low-lying cabins along the Yentna River, particularly near Lake Creek.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1039 AM AKDT, river gauge reports indicate rises in water levels from heavy rain across the advisory area. Minor flooding is expected to begin shortly, especially along the Yentna River near Lake Creek. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible. - Anticipate water levels along the Yentna River to surpass minor flood stage Monday night, then reach a crest Tuesday afternoon. Water will recede below minor flood levels by around midday Wednesday. - For Yentna River at Lake Creek: At 9:50am the stage was 18.6 feet. Flood Stage is 20.5 feet. Forecast: A crest around 21.6 feet is expected around 4:00pm Tuesday.
