* WHAT...For the Heat Advisory, heat index values up to 98. Highs today will be in the mid 90s. For the Lake Wind Advisory, northeast winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 35 mph expected.

* WHERE...Central and Southeast Phillips, Central and Southern Valley, Garfield, McCone, and Petroleum Counties.

* WHEN...For the Heat Advisory, until 2 AM MDT Wednesday. For the Lake Wind Advisory, from 10 AM this morning to noon MDT Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Strong winds and rough waves on area lakes will create hazardous conditions for small craft. Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat illnesses.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Waves on Fort Peck Lake will be up to 4 feet.
