* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...East Central Jefferson County in central Colorado... Southwestern Arapahoe County in northeastern Colorado... North Central Douglas County in northeastern Colorado...
* WHEN...Until 630 PM MDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 324 PM MDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen.
- This includes the following streams and drainages... Indian Creek, Willow Creek, Garber Creek, South Platte River, Middle Garber Creek, Rainbow Creek, Pine Creek, West Bear Creek, Deer Creek, Plum Creek, Big Dry Creek, Bear Creek and North Garber Creek. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include... Highlands Ranch, Littleton, Roxborough Park, Louviers, Chatfield Reservoir, Sprucewood, Kassler and Columbine.
