* Flash Flood Warning for... Clark County in east central Illinois... Southern Coles County in east central Illinois... Cumberland County in east central Illinois... Southern Edgar County in east central Illinois...

* Until 1115 AM CDT.

* At 813 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Up to 3 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 2 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Charleston, Mattoon, Marshall, Casey, Neoga, Greenup, Toledo, Martinsville, Ashmore, Westfield, Lerna, Jewett, Janesville, York, Paradise, Woodbury, Darwin, Loxa, Fox Ridge State Park and Hazel Dell.

This includes the following State Parks... Fox Ridge State Park and Lincoln Trail State Park.

This includes the following highways... Interstate 70 between mile markers 106 and 154. Interstate 57 between mile markers 173 and 193.
