The National Weather Service in State College has extended the

* Flash Flood Warning for... Central Lycoming County in north central Pennsylvania...

* Until 915 PM EDT.

* At 707 PM EDT, emergency management reported heavy rain and flash flooding in the area of Montoursville. Between 2.5 and 5 inches of rain have fallen across central Lycoming County. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is already occurring.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Heavy rain producing flash flooding.

SOURCE...Emergency management reported.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Williamsport, Montoursville, Montgomery, Duboistown, Cogan Station, Trout Run, Loyalsockville, Ralston, Elimsport, Barbours, Collomsville, South Williamsport, Garden View, Oval, Salladasburg, Little League World Series Complex and Williamsport Airport.
