* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...Southern De Kalb County in north central Illinois... Lee County in north central Illinois...

* WHEN...Until 130 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. High water may recede slowly from flooded areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1119 AM CDT, minor flooding continues in the advisory area after heavy rain due to thunderstorms early this morning. Between 2 and 5 inches of rain fell. - Though additional heavy rain is not expected, standing water and elevated creeks and streams will persist into this afternoon. A Flood Warning is also in effect along and near the Green River. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Sandwich, Amboy, Shabbona, Hinckley, Somonauk, Waterman, Paw Paw, Sublette, Woodhaven Lakes, Lee, Compton, Nelson, West Brooklyn, Harmon, Lee Center and Eldena. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
