* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...A portion of southwest Virginia, including the following counties, Carroll and Floyd.
* WHEN...Until 245 AM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1149 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated that heavy rain has exited the area. However, localized flooding may still be occurring as runoff from heavy rain falling since 9 PM collects in local creeks and rivers, potentially pushing them out of their banks and onto nearby roadways. - This includes the following streams and drainages... Island Creek, Deepwater Creek, Brannon Branch, Laurel Fork, Big Reed Island Creek, Mira Fork, Burks Fork and Greasy Creek. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Dugspur...
