.Daily clusters of showers and thunderstorms most of this week have brought widespread flooding to central Indiana. Rain chances remain in the forecast through sunday night, mainly north of Interstate 70. Other than perhaps lingers showers in the southeast Monday morning, Monday and Tuesday look dry before rain chances start moving in from the northwest late Tuesday night.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Wildcat Creek near Jerome.
* WHEN...Until early tomorrow afternoon.
* IMPACTS...At 12.0 feet, Extensive flooding of Wildcat Creek in Jerome area. CR 1050 E just south of Jerome begins to flood. Extensive flooding of canoe launch site and park near SR 213.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 11:15 AM EDT Saturday the stage was 10.2 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 11:15 AM EDT Saturday was 10.7 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 10.8 feet this evening.
