West Fork Big Blue River Near Dorchester affecting Seward and Saline Counties.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...West Fork Big Blue River near Dorchester.
* WHEN...From early this morning to Sunday morning.
* IMPACTS...At 22.0 feet, The county road about 500 feet north of the gage begins to flood.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 2:00 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 15.4 feet. - Bankfull stage is 15.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 2:00 AM CDT Thursday was 15.4 feet. - Forecast...The river will rise to 22.3 feet this afternoon. It will then fall tomorrow morning. It will rise to 19.4 feet early tomorrow afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage Saturday afternoon. - Flood stage is 15.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 22.6 feet on 07/01/1986. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
