.A new long-period south (190 degree) swell will steadily fill in tonight and peak on Thursday at advisory thresholds. Surf heights may linger at advisory thresholds through Friday.
* WHAT...Surf building to 8 to 12 feet by Thursday.
* WHERE...South facing shores of Kahoolawe, Kauai, Lanai, Maui, Molokai, Niihau, Oahu and the Big Island.
