The National Weather Service in Grand Junction has issued a Red Flag Warning below 9000 feet for gusty winds, low relative humidity and dry fuels, which is in effect from 10 AM Saturday to midnight MDT Saturday night. The Fire Weather Watch is no longer in effect.
* AFFECTED AREA...In Colorado, Fire Weather Zone 295 Southwest Colorado Upper East Forecast Area below 9000 feet.
* TIMING...From 10 AM Saturday to midnight MDT Saturday night.
* WINDS...Southwest 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 45 mph.
* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...12 to 17 percent.
* IMPACTS...Fires will catch and spread quickly. Exercise extreme caution with any outdoor burning.
