At 625 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated a cluster of strong thunderstorms, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots and weak waterspouts. This cluster of thunderstorms is generally located along a line extending from Isle Derniers to 9 nm south of Timbalier Island, moving east at 15 knots.
