At 643 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 15 miles northwest of Wadesboro to near Monroe. Movement was southeast at 5 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is possible.

Locations impacted include... Monroe, Unionville, Wingate, Marshville, Wesley Chapel, Indian Trail, and New Salem.
