Details

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive and repetitive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...A portion of central North Carolina, including the following counties, Alamance, Chatham, Guilford and Randolph.
* WHEN...Until 800 AM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas, urban areas, and near small creeks and streams.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 430 AM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated that between 2 and 5 inches of rain has fallen across parts or the Triad. While the rain has fallen over a long period of time, any additional heavy rain will result in minor flooding in the advisory area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Greensboro, High Point, Burlington, Asheboro, Graham, Randleman, Siler City, Mebane, McLeansville, Elon, Archdale, Trinity, Gibsonville, Pleasant Garden, Jamestown, Liberty, Haw River, Ramseur, Franklinville and Swepsonville. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
