The National Weather Service in Salt Lake City has extended the
* Flash Flood Warning for... West Central Kane County in southern Utah... East Central Washington County in southwestern Utah...
* Until 100 AM MDT.
* At 1056 PM MDT, National Park Service reported flash flooding from earlier thunderstorms producing heavy rain across Zion National Park. A gauge at the North Fork of the Virgin River in Springdale reported flows peaking over 5500 cfs at 800 PM MDT. The majority of rainfall fell earlier, though a few storms are still in the area.
HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding.
