At 429 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 9 miles southeast of Statenville to near Jasper. These storms were nearly stationary.
HAZARD...Wind gusts around 40 mph and excessive cloud-to-ground lightning.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Excessive cloud-to-ground lightning is occurring.
