For the Gale Warning, north winds 20 to 30 kt with gusts up to 40 kt and waves 10 to 15 ft expected. For the second Small Craft Advisory, north winds 10 to 20 kt with gusts up to 30 kt and waves 7 to 10 ft expected.

* WHERE...Black River to Ontonagon MI and Ontonagon to Upper Entrance of Portage Canal MI.

* WHEN...For the first Small Craft Advisory, until 5 AM EDT /4 AM CDT/ early this morning. For the Gale Warning, until 4 PM EDT /3 PM CDT/ this afternoon. For the second Small Craft Advisory, from 4 PM EDT /3 PM CDT/ this afternoon to midnight EDT /11 PM CDT/ tonight.

* IMPACTS...Strong winds will cause hazardous waves which could capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility.
