* Flash Flood Warning for... Eastern Pima County in southeastern Arizona...
* Until 915 PM MST.
* At 615 PM MST, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 0.5 and 1.2 inches of rain have fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.
* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Tucson, Flowing Wells, South Tucson and Tucson Mountain Park.
This includes the following highways... Interstate 19 near mile marker 63. Interstate 10 between mile markers 251 and 255...and near mile marker 260.
This includes the following Flash Flood Prone Locations... Camino de Oeste from Sweetwater to Gates Pass and Ironwood Hills Dr from Shannon to Camino de Oeste.
