* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
* WHERE...Southeastern Dare County in eastern North Carolina...
* WHEN...Until 1100 AM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Water over roadways. Overflowing poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 852 AM EDT, North Carolina Department of Transportation reported deep standing water along portions of NC 12 from Oregon Inlet to the Waves, Salvo, and Rodanthe areas. Water has been reported to be up to the headlights of some vehicles. Between 4 and 7 inches of rain have fallen. - Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
