Flash Flood Warning

At 323 PM MST, Doppler radar indicated that the heavy rain has ended over the Seligman area. However, flooding remains a threat from earlier thunderstorms producing heavy rain. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. Any additional rainfall amounts will be light. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, normally dry washes, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Seligman.

This includes the following highways... Interstate 40 between mile markers 118 and 122. Business Interstate 40 between mile markers 140 and 141. Route 66 between mile markers 137 and 139.

This includes the following creeks, washes and rivers... Chino Wash and Big Chino Wash.
