At 455 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots and small hail. These thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 10 nm southeast of Tofte Safe Harbor to Beaver Bay to 6 nm west of Castle Danger to 17 nm northwest of Larsmont, moving southeast at 25 knots.
